章 116: Committed Treason

Nicholas spoke softly as he sat beside the scared man. "You even brought guests without informing me. Hmm?" 

Martin shrank his head. He shuddered like a broken leaf. The aura of the crown prince he could not handle.

He looked at Cassian with pleading eyes but the man was only staring back at your majesty.

"I did not come as a duke." The cold voice echoed in the room. The golden insignia shone in the dark.

"Ha! So you are taking your position as a protector of the sun? I thought you wanted to save your life and live as a businessman.'' The mockery in his voice did not go unnoticed by Cassian.

"The physician assessed that your majesty was poisoned." Nicholas raised his brow and laughed as if he had heard a joke.

"Is that so?" Then he looked at the physician who had come with him. "Then he must be punished with the death sentence." 

His lazy voice was devoid of emotion but the physician fell on his knees.
