CHAPTER 108

Shawn stepped forward, shielding Yasmin with his body as he glared menacingly at the intruder. 

Desmond scoffed in bewilderment. His eyes narrowed, his flickering between Shawn and Yasmin.

"What? Does your gigolo want to step in for you now?"

Yasmin but her lower lip. She hated her classmates but speaking to someone like the Jaydens meant you were courting death. 

"Stop this, Desmond. You and I have nothing linking us," Yasmin warned calmly. 

"Stop?" He chuckled lightly. "What? You forgot how you threw yourself at me, literally eager for me to date you?"

Yasmin felt like the ground should open up under her feet and swallow her low. From the corner of her eye she glanced at Shawn. 

His expression was unreadable. 

Deep down she felt she had lost everything with him, especially her self-respect. 

"I didn't."
