The magic in the Witch World had become so refined over the years that there were myriad disciplines, much like how few people knew just how many strange and quirky majors there were within the Witch Academy.

However, despite the variations, all the existing magic disciplines actually traced back to the original Nine Major Schools of the Witch World.

Those were Magic Potion, Alchemy, Necromancy, Summoning, Evocation, Transmigration, Spirit, Prophecy, and Combat Magic.

These Nine Major Schools were the foundation of most magic in the Witch World, just as mathematics is the foundation of most sciences.
