Kian's P. O. V
"Kian get down!" I didn't know when Rocco grabbed me by the elbow and pushed me down onto the concrete, using his back to shield me from the flames.
We weren't close enough for the flames to harm me, but he wasn't the kind of take liberties.
"Davien! He's still inside the building!" I kicked and struggled underneath him, "We have to help save—"
"Kian, we can't do anything." He said strictly, wrapping his arms around me, restricting my movement. In one swift movement, he lifted me off the floor and tossed me over his shoulder.
"Go back! Stop!" I violently punched his back, a wave of anxiety washed over me, causing a sharp pain in my stomach. I watched in horror as the airport burned down, and the police prioritized the people who were able to make it out.
My thoughts scattered across the place, and right before Rocco shoved my semiconscious body into the car, I felt a voice cry at the back of my mind.
