As Rose lowered her gun, the man's smile grew crueler, and his eyes roamed over every inch of her body. Rose bit her lip when she noticed Mike's gaze lingering on her.

Although Arven was annoying and constantly pursued her, it didn't mean she despised him completely.

"Young miss," Kate said with a sense of defeat.

Olivia also lowered her gun, realizing they had already lost and had to accept the fact. They had lost, and that was the harsh reality they had to face.

"Put the gun down and kick it over here slowly, my dear Rose," Mike said with malice, his eyes burning with triumph.

Rose placed her gun down, and Olivia followed suit, gently kicking their guns in Mike's direction. Mike then picked up the guns, and his laughter echoed throughout the house.

"Hahahah. Rose, are you really that foolish? James, lower your gun," Mike commanded his man.
