There did not seem to be much that she could learn from many of them but she still kept reading no matter how useless any piece of it was.

There were a couple of people who wrote from the perspective that they had experienced some things while some others were just complaining about the situation as an outsider.

The police in particular were being mentioned as being ineffective in solving the problem and that it was only growing worse as time passed.

No names were being mentioned so she was unable to find out anything but there was one thing in particular that gradually started to show up in some of them.
