章 297: Two Choices

Even the boss of a gang had things that they had to worry about.

They were in a much higher position than others so they had to deal with so much more than others.

Not only did they have to worry about every little thing the gang was involved in and how everything worked out, but they also had to worry about many other things too.

Anyone in a high enough position would be just as worried about those in similar positions to themselves whether they would be rivals or allies.

Even those without a rival would have to be cautious of those beneath them so that they did not have anyone coveting the power that was theirs.

All those worries, mistrust and much more piled on top of one another causing their fears to grow.

If fear was to be described as a flame then all they were doing was letting every small thing contribute towards growing that flame.
