There were expectations placed on him placed there by his group of friends who were in a similar drunk state as him.

There was his drunken state which let his ego take over as he was not thinking as clearly as he should be.

His other desires were brought out and it did not help that he had others egging him on.

Expectations were on his shoulders so he could not stop himself.

Ash never got to enjoy such a side of life so she did not understand his actions completely.

She had never drunk a single sip of alcohol in her life so far and she did not plan on doing so anytime soon.

It was previously required of her for her future training to avoid such places and she was still much too young back then to get accepted inside those kinds of places even if she had been a little interested.
