章 23: The Start of Things

We stand ready in front of a large curtain that drapes down like a waterfall. A sharp bright light flashes, taking our last group photo. My mother, Callahan and Odessa leave their portrait positions. I roll my shoulders and stand straighter, ready for my single shots. A large spider like machine holds several cameras on it’s arm. One of them protrudes closer to me. Flash. Another goes to my side. Flash. I change positions. Flash.
