Ethan held a small pearl-sized pebble in his hand. This was the final test. He had managed to crush larger stones, the size of his fist, into sand particles.
Lord Gabriel kept reducing the size of the stones so that Ethan could control his power skillfully.
"If you have good control, your body won't weaken. The monster's strength inside you won't take over if you don't weaken," Lord Gabriel encouraged.
Initially, Ethan was unhappy with being repeatedly called a monster. However, he finally had an epiphany and accepted himself for who he was. It was a part of him that he hadn't even understood.
The pebble in Ethan's hand finally crumbled into perfect sand particles. The sand fell from his palm as he lowered his hand.
"Good! You did it," Lord Gabriel said proudly. "Next, try to familiarize yourself with various harder types of rocks." Lord Gabriel then handed Ethan a diamond the size of his fist.
