章 137: Henry's Rough Day

The second he heard the challenging voice on the other end of the line, Henry could tell something wasn't right. He asked, a bit too confidently, "What's up?"

Paige shot back coldly, "I've got something. Something big."

Trying to act like he was too busy for this, Henry said, "I've got a lot on my plate. Next time, set up a meeting with my assistant."

Not wasting a second, Paige got straight to the point, her voice firm, "You need to be here in the next hour, or your past cheating scandal is going public."

Henry was taken aback, but then he clenched his teeth and spat out, "You're really bold."

With that, he hung up. Paige tossed her cell onto her desk, her mood instantly lightening. She turned to Alicia and said, "Sweetie, you should head out. I've got to deal with some private stuff with Henry."

Worried about dragging Paige into trouble, Alicia offered, "Let me stay and help."
