章 21: Increasing Power: Part 3- Cultivation / Summoning a Familiar!
[Since you are asking about Qi, I shall tell you the basics of what you need to know. Qi, Otherwise known as the energy of reality, is a energy that is woven into the very fabric of reality. People who are able to harness and use this energy are called Cultivators because they cultivate Qi to increase both their power and lifespan.
Cultivators can also change the Qi they gain in such a way that it transforms into their own unique type of Qi, but this is very difficult as it takes a lot of focus and concentration over a long period of time to achieve this so most cultivators chose to hide themselves in isolated areas of the world as to not be distracted by noise or things beyond their control. What you also need to know is that each cultivator has a different way of cultivating, because sensing Qi is a chore in of itself.
