章 75: Paparazzi

"Is this her?" the woman that stood behind Nate asked as she carefully observed Maya. 

Maya felt as if the woman was dissecting her, judging every physical square inch of her skin just based on how her gaze landed on Maya. 

"Yes," Nate said with a bright smile, his eyes shining in excitement. "Maya, I want you to meet someone."

"Oh?" Maya asked, unsure of what to feel.

The woman was gorgeous, she was definitely fit to marry a member of the De La Rue family. She also mentioned a three-year-old child, Maya couldn't help but wonder if Nate had a family after he left. 

To her surprise, Nate took her hand and interlaced their fingers together. 

Maya was frozen in shock, if this woman was the mother of his child, how could he be acting this way in front of her?

"Nate, I don't think this is appropriate," Maya complained as she tried to free her hand from his.
