the order of assassins
The Order has a strong belief in a set of principles that governs both its lives and its actions, known as "the Creed". The Creed is established on three main rules:
"Draw thy blade away from the flesh of the innocent."
"Hide in plain sight, camouflage yourself with the people."
"Never compromise the Brotherhood."
These principles permeate all aspects of Assassins' lives, including their own strategies. It is because of them that the Assassins seek to disrupt order through strategic assassinations, hoping that the killing of one individual will save the lives of many. In addition, they present themselves as those who fight for those who cannot.
Ideals
Skepticism:
the Assassin philosophy has more to do with rationalism, the approach to the world from an unbiased point of view and away from elements such as morality or faith.
It is from this skepticism that the creed's maxim arises: "Nothing is true, everything is allowed". The first half affirms that there is no single truth and that, therefore, to consider any cause as purely just or true is a mistake.
For its part, the second sentence affirms that everything is permitted and that one must be responsible with the actions that each one takes according to both oneself and the rest of society.
Humanitarianism:
Although the philosophy of the Assassins drinks mainly from nihilism, in practice the Order is deeply idealistic, with a strong sentiment to aid in social justice and humanitarian causes. The Assassins justify this perspective from the point of view of logic and reality and it is reinforced by their high valuation of the life of each individual.
Goals
Assassins have always fought for the liberation of oppressed people from the privileged. Freedom is only a means to achieve peace, a global period of prosperity and harmony.
Moreover, peace is achieved through education, not force, and is therefore only possible without strict control of the training that authoritarian regimes avocate for.
