As Dean examined his status panel, a sudden pang of discomfort shot through his body, centered in his head. A flood of information surged into his consciousness, overwhelming him momentarily. He reclined onto the soft sand, allowing himself time to process the influx of data.
As his mind absorbed the surge of information, he felt a rush of clarity as his knowledge of swordsmanship and haki techniques deepened. He began to grasp the intricacies of each technique, and the different stages of the chosen perks became clearer in his mind. He could almost visualize himself executing each move with precision and skill.
First of all, there are 6 stages of swordsmanship.
[Novice Swordsman]: In this stage, the swordsman is capable of attacking and defending fluently with a sword. The focus is on mastering the basic techniques, such as footwork, stance, and basic strikes. The novice swordsman learns how to hold the sword correctly and how to move it fluidly, executing simple attacks and defenses with ease. This stage forms the foundation for all subsequent stages of swordsmanship, and mastery of the basics is essential for progress to higher levels.
[Beginner Swordsman]: In this stage, the swordsman has advanced beyond the basics and is now capable of cutting through woods and stones with ease. The focus is on developing strength, speed, and precision in the strikes.
[Intermediate Swordsman]: In this stage, the swordsman has progressed to a level where the sword becomes an extension of their own will. The focus is on developing a deeper understanding of the techniques, as well as building more speed, strength, and precision. The intermediate swordsman is capable of cutting through harder materials than before, such as certain types of stones or even steel.
[Advanced Swordsman]: In this stage, the swordsman has achieved a high level of mastery and is capable of cutting through objects that are thicker than the length of their sword, such as buildings or ships. The focus is on refining technique and developing a deeper understanding of the nuances of swordsmanship. The advanced swordsman can execute complex maneuvers with ease, such as deflecting multiple attacks and counterattacking simultaneously. They also learn how to use their opponent's strength against them and how to anticipate their moves with precision.
[Master Swordsman]: In this stage, the swordsman has achieved an exceptional level of mastery and is capable of executing advanced techniques with great precision and speed. The focus is on refining one's technique and building a deeper connection with the sword.
The master swordsman can execute techniques with such force and speed that they create a compressed air projectile, known as a Flying Slash Attack. This technique allows the swordsman to cut at long distances with incredible accuracy and power. Additionally, the swordsman has developed the ability to cut through elements such as fire, lightning, water, and other materials that would normally be difficult to cut through with a sword.
[Grandmaster Swordsman]: In this final stage, the swordsman has achieved the highest level of mastery and has transcended even the physical and spiritual limitations of swordsmanship. The focus is on channeling elemental power into sword slashes, known as Intent. The grandmaster swordsman can project their Intent in various forms, such as energy blasts, shockwaves, or other elemental effects.
For example, Vista from The Whitebeard Pirates could project his sword Intent in the form of red rose petals, capable of cutting through almost anything. The grandmaster swordsman can also cut through objects of immense durabilities, such as steel forts, and even an entire island. This stage requires not only exceptional physical ability and training but also a deep understanding of the nature of reality and the power of the mind. Few ever reach this level of mastery, and those who do are regarded as legends in the world of swordsmanship.
And the information that a swordsman can imbue their sword with either Armament or Conqueror's Haki to enhance its power output and protect the blade from damage. By imbuing their sword with either of these types of Haki, a swordsman can greatly increase the effectiveness of their attacks and make their weapon much more formidable in battle.
Haki is divided into 3 stages:
[Beginner]:
→ Armament←: This stage is essentially an invisible armor that allows for effective attacks against certain Devil Fruit users who possess Logia or Paramecia-type abilities, which render physical attacks useless. By enhancing either specific body parts or the entire body, this stage amplifies its strength and durability, thus earning its moniker as an invisible armor.
→Observation← : This stage operates similarly to a sixth sense, granting its user heightened perception that enables them to detect the presence or aura of others. Additionally, users of this stage can use their heightened senses to gauge the strength and level of Haki possessed by others. Overall, this stage allows its users to tap into a unique and powerful sensory experience that goes beyond the limits of normal human perception.
[Intermediate]:
→Armament← : Another variation of this stage is known as Hardening, where the user focuses their Haki around their body, causing it to become harder and more resilient. During this process, the user's body will take on a shiny and black appearance, signifying that the Haki has been successfully concentrated and applied.
→Observation← : Other usages include greatly sensing one's emotions. It can also sense or predict a person's actions. It's great for battle since the user can easily dodge attacks with it.
[Advanced]:
→Armament← : Another form is emission, where the user can shoot out their Haki's flow. Another advanced form is internal destruction, where the user emits Haki and destroys an object from the inside out. In Wano, Armament Haki is known as Ryuo.
→Observation←: A highly advanced level of Kenbunshoku Haki allows the user to see a short period into the future; instead of just sensing what will happen by intuition, the user of this advanced level of Kenbunshoku Haki can see a precise mental image of what will happen in the immediate future. Contrary to basic Haki, there is no need to sense emotions or intention to use this technique.
Conqueror's Haki requires great effort to reach its higher stages. Typically, the potency of a user's haki is directly proportional to the strength of their willpower. In other words, the more determined and resolute a user is, the more potent their Conqueror's Haki will become.
The most common and basic use of Conqueror's Haki is to emit a sudden burst of overwhelming power that can knock out individuals with weaker wills. This outburst can be used to intimidate or subdue enemies, and it can also be used to inspire and motivate allies.
The second method of using Conqueror's Haki is to release it continuously, which can have a greater and more widespread impact than the quick outburst. This technique not only knocks out individuals with weaker wills in the vicinity but also puts pressure on the surroundings, affecting physical objects besides living beings.
In addition, this technique can also be used to tame or intimidate creatures, as well as to demonstrate the user's superiority over beasts or other powerful beings.
[Intermediate Stage]: The user's control over their haki output becomes more refined, allowing them to choose whom they want to affect with their willpower. This means that the user can focus their energy on specific targets, rather than affecting everyone in the vicinity.
[Advanced Stage]: A very small number of particularly powerful users can infuse their bodies and weapons with this haki, similar to how Armament Haki works. By doing so, they can greatly augment the power of their attacks and enhance their physical capabilities.
This advanced technique is achieved through a high level of mastery over Conqueror's Haki and requires the user to have an exceptional level of willpower and control. When infused with Conqueror's Haki, the user's body emits lightning from the part where the haki is focused, signifying its immense power.

To keep track of his stats, Dean utilizes a specially designed bracelet. By pressing a button on the bracelet, a screen instantly pops up before his eyes, displaying his current stats. To turn off the screen, all he needs to do is press the button again. It's important to note that the bracelet is exclusively for Dean's personal use and doesn't have any other functions.
While the function of the bracelet may seem trivial or unimportant to some, it holds great significance for Dean. Being able to view his progress and track his stats in real-time serves as a powerful motivator for him. Seeing tangible evidence of his improvement after every training session encourages him to push himself even further and strive for even greater success.
After spending a considerable amount of time processing the information, Dean realized that it was already noon. As he had been so engrossed in his work, he hadn't eaten anything substantial since his transmigration. The realization made him acutely aware of his hunger, and he found himself in need of a hearty meal to replenish his energy levels.
Initially, he considered venturing into the forest to find some food. However, he quickly dismissed the idea due to his apprehension about the dangers that lurked within. In this world, the average adult had a strength level of only 10 points, and while Dean was relatively strong for his age, he knew that encountering a powerful animal in the forest could quickly lead to his demise. Rather than risking his life, he knew he needed to find a safer way to obtain food.
After careful consideration, he decided that it was best to proceed with caution.
Dean pondered his options for obtaining food and ultimately decided that fishing would be the best course of action. It was a relatively safe and reliable way to procure sustenance without putting himself in danger. With his decision made, he set out to find a suitable spot to fish and begin his hunt for a meal.
