The ringing of the phone reverberated in the room.

Su Ming Yuan still had his eyes closed. He wanted to continue sleeping, but the noisy ringing did not allow him to return to the dreamland.

A heavy sigh escaped him as he tried to reach for the phone on the bedside table. His eyes narrowed as he tried to adjust his eyes to the lighting. But then, his eyes turned darker when he saw the name on the caller ID.

It was his father.

It was too early for his father to call. But, Su Ming Yuan could guess the reason his father would call him at this time.

Miss Huang should have complained to her father about him and now, his father wanted some explanation from him.

The corner of his lips turned up to a sneer.

Did his father think that he deserved an explanation? Especially with the way that he had tricked him into that blind date.
