Li Mei's playful laughter reverberated through the room as she taunted Jin, her eyes brimming with mischievous amusement. "Should I taste it again just to be sure?" she teased, a playful spark dancing in her gaze.

Jin, taken aback, swiftly rose from the sofa and instinctively distanced himself from her, his hand reflexively reaching up to touch his neck.

His expression turned stern, a strange discomfort settling over him, as if he had been caught exposed and vulnerable. 

But what puzzled him even more was the eerie sense of déjà vu that washed over him. Had someone done this to him before, in a similar manner?

His mind raced, attempting to piece together the fragments of the puzzle. Could it have been Li Mei who had subjected him to this while he was unconscious?
