章 248: A new fan

There was a 'for hire' sign on the sled and that's why Chi Lian decided to run in that direction. She was hoping that no one beat her to it.

"Chi Lian, slow down." Yifei shouted as she was panting from the fast pace she had to endure to keep up with Chi Lian.

"We are already here." Chi Lian replied with a laugh.

"Eh, how?" Yifei looked at where they had come from and where they were now. The distance may not have been exponentially big but still, it needed like two minutes and a half to get there.

They had reached in.....she looked down at her watch, one minute and twenty seconds.

"Wow, Chi Lian, you are incredibly fast." Yifei's voice held a trace of wonder.

Chi Lian remembered that her body had been modified by the gene editing serum, her speed was significantly higher than before.

"I am very fit, I spend no less than two hours a day exercising." She answered with a shrug of her shoulders.
