章 407: Make You A King

Prince Aldric stood at the spot unmoving. It had been minutes gone since Islinda hit him on the face and yet the move left a great impact because his hand still clasped his jaw. It was as if he was unable to believe she hit. 

However, it wasn't her audacity that stunned him, after all, Islinda was known to push his buttons, but the strength he felt in that blow. He felt his jaw slowly recover from the fracture it suffered and he flexed it just to be sure. Aldric's eyes were narrowed into slits, his thinking cap on. His mind spiraled around one realization: Islinda broke his jaw. 

How was that possible? 

No, it should not be possible. 

She was human and her hands should have fractured instead of his jaw. So how then? Perhaps the protection necklace? No, the gemstone should have shielded her from attacks, not amplified her own strength. That was not possible nor has he heard of it happening.
