章 114: Chapter 114: Audacity

"Who are you asking to leave?" Just as the Guard finished speaking, a voice came from behind. The guard's face turned ashen. It was the voice of their leader that spoke.

Raven turned his gaze towards the source of the voice, his eyes falling upon a tall figure dressed in intricate robes. The leader of the City of Tides, known as Orien, stood there with an aura of authority and sorrow around him.

He had just finished burying his nephew and was feeling lost. Still, he didn't forget his duty and came to check. 

"I apologize, Captain," the guard stammered, bowing slightly. "This person..."

Orien's eyes were fixed on Raven, his gaze unwavering. The Guard thought that Orien was going to attack Raven right away, but to his surprise, Orien simply stayed silent. 

Orien simply looked at Raven, his eyes seemingly still lost. His mind was still shrouded in thoughts of his nephew.
