Dhruv nodded affirmatively, his expression serious. "Yes, it is indeed the Aubrey family. Why do you ask, Veer? Do you happen to know someone from that family?" Dhruv inquired.
"No, I don't know her personally, but on the day of my awakening, I happened to meet a girl named Ruhi who mentioned being from the Aubrey family," Veer clarified, his voice filled with intrigue.
Dhruv's eyes widened in astonishment. "What? Veer, Ruhi Aubrey had her awakening on the same day as you did. After that, she enrolled in the Magic of Warrior School, which is part of the Battle Mages Alliance. It seems she fell in love with a boy, and that's when everything took a turn," Dhruv explained, equally surprised by the coincidence.
Veer nodded, taking in the information, but he didn't delve further into the matter. Instead, he scanned his surroundings, noticing the presence of five unfamiliar individuals besides Dhruv and Karv. Curiosity piqued, Veer turned to Dhruv and inquired about the identities of the unknown individuals.
Dhruv shook his head, following Veer's gaze to the people he was referring to. "Veer, three of them are members of our guild tasked with tracking down the other assassin involved in the attempt on the boy's life. Come, let me introduce you to them," Dhruv said, leading Veer towards the group.
Greetings, my esteemed friends! Allow me to introduce Veer, the latest addition to our illustrious guild. Veer, it is my pleasure to introduce you to Rohan, a remarkable water elemental magician and our guild's esteemed rank 3 magician. By his side stands Dharam, an exceptional rank 3 warrior skilled in the art of swordplay. And finally, we have Ravi, a formidable rank 4 fire magician. As the vice guild master, I am delighted to present Veer to our esteemed guild members.
"Hello, everyone. I am Veer, a warrior rank1," Veer greeted the gathering with gratitude. "Thank you all for being here and offering your assistance."
"We are already acquainted with you," Ravi curtly informed Veer.
"Ravi, please refrain from speaking to Veer in such a manner. Remember, Veer is still new to our guild," Dharam interjected, promptly coming to Veer's defense.
"Indeed, that's precisely my point. Veer didn't need to risk his life. He could have remained with Curve, Aisa, and Jack, who would have been more than capable of saving him," Ravi expressed, maintaining his previous sentiment.
"During that specific encounter, the number of wolves was overwhelming. It's important to remember that not everyone possesses your magical prowess, allowing them to incinerate anything at will," Dharam retorted, growing increasingly irritated by Ravi's remarks.
After listening to Dharam's words, Ravi enters the scene and swiftly points his hand towards Dharam, uttering the command, "Fire bullet."
In an instant, a blazing bullet materializes from Ravi's hand, astonishing Veer with its speed. Dharam, a skilled rank 3 warrior, reacts with lightning-fast reflexes, swiftly evading the bullet. For a moment, it appears as if multiple afterimages of Dharam fill the air, showcasing his incredible agility.
"Whoosh!"
With a sharp sound, the bullet narrowly misses Dharam, striking a tree roughly 50 meters away and causing a powerful explosion.
"Boom..."
The deafening sound reverberates through the surroundings.
Gasping for breath after narrowly escaping the attack, Dharam catches his breath. Concerned, Veer approaches him, asking in a worried tone, "Are you alright?"
"Hah, I'm fine. But that rascal always resorts to this. He does it every time I provoke him," Dharam tells Veer, clearly upset.
"You should think before you speak, or it will only worsen next time," Ravi remarks, wrinkling his nose at Dharam.
"Alright, alright, but you shouldn't speak to him in that manner. We understand that Veer shouldn't have rushed, but he did it all to save his team. So, don't be so harsh on him. Besides, Veer had consumed a prohibited drug, which is why he might still be weak. He may need some treatment," Dharam says, looking at Ravi.
"Whoosh!"
Suddenly, Ravi tosses something towards Veer. "Take this and drink it. After consuming this, your internal energy will improve," Ravi says, throwing a shiny blue bottle towards Veer. The bottle contains a fluid that gleams in the light. Ravi starts moving away from Veer and Dharam. Curious, Veer looks at Ravi and asks, "What is this?"
"This is a recovery medicine, Veer. Whether you're a warrior or a magician, it helps restore your strength within 5 minutes. This particular medicine is rank 1 and costs around 2000 star dollars. Drink it, and you'll feel better soon," Dharam explains in a husky voice.
Upon hearing Dharam's explanation, Veer opens the cap of the bottle and brings it close to his mouth, consuming the recovery medicine in a single breath.
"Wow, this recovery medicine is amazing! I can already sense my internal energy slowly regaining. Can I obtain this medicine from the Battle Mages Alliance as well?" Veer asks Dharam.
"Yes, you can obtain it from the Battle Mages Alliance, but first, you need to attain the Noble Clarification of Rank 3. Before that, you must achieve Rank 1 Noble Clarification. There are two ways to achieve this. First, you can contribute 100,000 star dollars to the Mages Alliance. Alternatively, you can take the Warrior Test to become a Rank 1 Noble. Since you've likely already completed the Rank 1 Warrior Test, you should be eligible for Rank 1 Noble as well. As you rank up by taking the Warrior Test, your Noble rank will also increase," Dharam explains to Veer.
Upon hearing this, Veer shakes his head and realizes, "So, it means I am already Rank 1 Noble. To progress further, I need to either advance my Warrior rank or contribute star dollars to the Battle Mages Alliance. How many star dollars do I have to contribute for Rank 2?" Veer asks Dharam.
"For Rank 2 Noble, you will need to contribute at least one million star dollars. And for Rank 3, it's ten million star dollars. Similarly, for Rank 4, it's a hundred million star dollars. The amount keeps increasing like this. That's why it's better to increase your Warrior rank rather than relying solely on monetary contributions to advance your Noble rank," Dharam advises Veer.
