章 44: Techniques

As Lucien stepped into the classroom, he couldn't help but feel the weight of everyone's scrutinizing gaze upon him. It was exactly what he had anticipated; after all, his face must have looked unfamiliar to them.

Their scrutinizing stares soon transformed into hushed whispers.

'Ah, here we go again,' Lucien thought to himself, trying to maintain his composure. Fortunately, he possessed a naturally intimidating look that seemed to be etched on his face regardless of his actions. It proved to be quite useful when he needed to put on a facade despite the mixed emotions he felt inside. 

"Hey, are you going to enter or what?" a man's voice snapped Lucien out of his daze. It dawned on him that he had been standing there for too long, unintentionally blocking the entrance.

Clearing his throat to conceal his embarrassment, he stepped aside, allowing the man to pass. Yet, to his surprise, the man's gaze remained fixed on him, filled with unabated curiosity.
