章 15: Trespassers

Time stopped for Irine, she couldn't even hide her surprise and excitement. So it was true, she was that girl about whose birth she had received a letter seventeen years back. That child whom she had seen for the last time twelve years ago, in that fateful night of the Foundation day ball. She is the one. After that incident, the Betrice always kept a low profile, to the level of invisibility, and they never for once kept any contact. They had left this residence for sometime. And now when Irine looked at her, her unique greyish blue eyes, caramel brown hair, the honey dew complexion and the perfect sharp nose, it all actually claimed her Betrice origin.

She wanted to hurry back home and inform her husband about everything, they shouldn't waste any time in getting in touch with the Betrice family.
