章 5: Chapter 5

It has been close to a year, I am now 7 years old,
I and Shisui Sensei were training in the Forest behind the Uchiha Compound, we were doing our usual sparring against each other.
I had managed to perfect the normal shunshin and now I only needed to add a chakra nature to it.
I was thinking of using wind release for it since out of my other chakra natures, it was the most compatible with shunshin, another reason for picking it as well though was that Sensei's shunshin was a wind style one as well, and he could help me develop it faster.
Since I was under Shisuis Tutilage, I had grown at a pace that most would consider monstrous, but to me, it wasn't so special considering the abilities of itachi-nii and shisui sensei.
As aforementioned, I was able to master the normal shunshin as well as perfect my shuriken jutsu to a level that only uchihas are usually capable of with their improved vision from the Sharingan.
I also was able to learn some elemental jutsu as well like fire style: fireball, phoenix flower, dragon flame, Wind Style: Breakthrough, and gale palm.
I had achieved both the chakra control exercises, those being Tree walk and Water Walk.
While all of this was ongoing, id started to notice the rising occurrence of troubles coming to the police force and the Uchiha clan, the amount of stress seemed to rub off on shisui too, and while I would like to help him, it just wasn't something I was able to do with my lacking social skills or with my non-existent power on the villages social/political structure.
Shisui: Yo, Tobi what's up with you today? you've been frowning a lot more lately, something on your mind?
Tobi: Hn? not something to worry about.
Shisui: Sigh... Itachi is such a bad influence, sometimes I feel like you're more of an Uchiha than I am.
Shisui: "How about a spar? it's been a few weeks now since our last one."
Tobi nodded and both he and shisui distanced each other by about 30 meters.
Shisui: "Ready?"
Tobi nodded and at that same instance both parties vanished from sight
Both collided in the air with sparks flying off the kunai.
Using a body flicker, I appeared behind Shisui and slashed him only to notice that he was but an afterimage that had been reinforced by genjutsu.
Doing a quick chakra outburst so that I could shake off the genjutsu and then ducked immediately as tanto was slashed at my previous location.
Moving my leg in a round slash so that I could take him off his feet, only to notice that shisui had already jumped.
While in the air though, most ninjas are defenseless and so I directly launched a barrage of kunai and shuriken.
Using my ability to direct the kunai and shuriken while they were in the air, I launched another barrage of them thus directing the kunai so that they were coming towards shisui from all sides, be it up, down, left, right, or from his behind.
*Poof*
Smoke engulfed shisuis location in the air and a second later, the sound of something falling to the ground with a thunk was heard
with the smoke clearing, I could see clearly what was a log that had been covered in kunai and shuriken
Kawarimi is one of the 3 most basic academy jutsu.
Moving my eyes, and trying to locate his position
Left side, nothing
Right side, also nothing
Behind, nothing
Up, still nothing
That means...,
I jumped in the air and used Katon: Gokakyu no jutsu(Great Fire Ball jutsu)
At the last moment, shisui appeared from under the ground with what is most likely Earth style: HeadHunter jutsu.
Noticing his predicament, shisui unleashed a barrage of hand signs that were unrecognizable from the speed, and in a second another Great fireball was headed toward mine.
Both of them Collided releasing huge amounts of heat, thankfully there were no trees around the clearing or it would have caused a huge forest fire.
I landed with a roll and just as I got up, a kunai was already at my neck.
How? I'm sure that it wouldn't have been possible to cover that amount of distance without me at least noticing the chakra being released from the jutsu.
Shisui: "I put a genjutsu on you so that my chakra couldn't be sensed, in most cases, it wouldn't have worked on you're freaky body that has that crazy chakra sense of yours but in this case, it did because of the 2 fire jutsus colliding, the whole chakra in the area was in chaos and thus your sense for disturbed as well even if to a lesser extent than what my genjutsu did"
Tobi: "I see, is there any way to counter that then? That's quite a big weakness to all sensory ninjas"
Shisui: "There is, though it hasn't been perfected and isn't optimal, most sensory ninjas keep their chakra active when in battle by circulating it constantly and releasing a small part of it"
Tobi: "That creates the problem of constant usage and I'm sure that most ninjas simply can't achieve it."
Shisui: "It does but it doesn't get used in every situation with its usage mainly being in high elemental ninjutsu battles, since those are the only ones that disturb the chakra sense and only when used on a high scale."
Tobi: "I see, thanks for the spar sensei"

Tobi replied as he bowed toward Shisui
"Hahaha don't mention it," said Shisui as he rubbed tobis's head

This was only a sample of a battle and I didn't use any of his jutsu really with most of it being simply strategy and danger sense.
The real battles will start to appear in the next few chapters so stay tuned
