章 158: LUCAS IS A COMPLICATED MAN

The morning sun hit Magdalene hard as she groaned and stirred in her sleep.

"You're awake" A voice said.

Magdalene opened her eyes to see Lucas standing just by the window holding a glass of something that looked like blood.

"Good morning Lord Lucas" She said to him. Magdalene recalled how abruptly he had left the room leaving her upset and sad over nothing. She chased him away and she didn't have any right to feel bad but she just couldn't help but wish he had stayed. Magdalene didn't regret telling him to stop from going any further she just was upset that he still hadn't made things clear to her.

"Did you sleep well?" Lucas asked and Magdalene nodded with a smile.

"Yes Milord" Magdalene would have said and you? but remembering that vampires didn't sleep and Lucas hadn't spent his night here she decided to keep numb.

Magdalene tried to get out of the covers wanting to go to her room when the taunting voice of Lucas stopped her.
