章 21: RUDE LADY KATHERINE

After the court hearing was over, Everyone began to disperse. Magdalene didn't even had the chance to see the Lord or even talk to him. Roderick had some important matters to handle so he sent the carriage to take her to the castle. As they arrived at castle, Magdalene walked in with a confused face.

She was still in her thoughts when she incidentally bumped into lady Katherine.

"You lowly peasant, can't you even walk properly" Katherine yelled.

"I'm sorry" Magdalene said with her heads down.

Katherine couldn't miss this oppoturnity of taunting the girl.

"What could your sorry fix, lowly human. What charm did you use on the Lord. You can clearly see that you aren't welcome here, no one wants you. Even your poor pathetic parents abandoned you , now you're trying to play damsel in distress to the lord." Katherine said cruelly.
