Siun skimmed through his stats, and as Tex said they were all garbage except his agility which was good for a 3 year old, but compared to a Xinthri, was absolutely mediocre
[Well it's to be expected I guess, my parents are just NPCs so of course their son would be the same] He continued reading until he reached the tasks and quests [WHAT THE FUCK?] Siun said as he rapidly got up from the roof in absolute disbelief [I HAVE 5 STRIKES? I HAVENT EVEN-]
[Tex : WAIT! QUIET FOR A MOMENT!] Tex was also greatly surprised but for a different reason than Siun [What the fuck is ERROR?!]
[Tex : AN ERROR IN THE SYSTEM? WHAT IS GTHE MEANING OF THIS?] Tex said as he aggressively clawed at the blue screen making it disappear
[T-tex what's going to happen to me?! Is the strikes going to keep going up without me knowing why?!]
[Tex : C-calm down host! I'll find out what's wrong with this broken piece of crap!]
Whilst Siun was waiting for Tex to come up with an explanation to the malfunction Siun had something that he was curious about
[Tex can you bring that screen back up?!]
[Tex : It's broken host! I'm trying to fix it so just shut up and wait!]
[No just bring it up real quick!]
Tex sighed and waved his tail once more and the blue screen reappeared
[What did you say the Hero's name is again?]
[Tex : It should be on the screen you dumbass!] Tex said as he moved his paw to point at the name, but abruptly paused when he realized [Huh? WHAT?!]
Tex said as he once again panicked and frantically tried to figure out what was wrong
[Tex : Ah this is not good! I'm probably going to have to reboot, because I don't see a problem with it! I don't know much about technology, but I'm sure rebooting will fix everything!]
[...really?] Siun thought to himself, he was surprised to find out that the 'system' didn't know much about tech
[What should I do while you reboot then? How long will it take?]
[Tex : I dont know! But I better start right now incase it takes a while! Goodluck without me, don't get into trouble!]
[Wait w-] But before Siun could even say goodbye the black cat suddenly disappeared into nothing [... I guess I'll go check out the saints and their ritual, if I remember correctly there should be 2 saints coming to Xinthri]
As Siun was running towards the woods behind the church he was imagining in his mind what the 2 saints would look like
[I bet they'll look like uhm... really holy! Yeah! Dressed in white clothing with gold accents maybe? And long sleeves and and robes i think] He said as he continued running at a steady pace
[Running is getting really easy for me now, I can keep this pace easy! But I guess I'm still not as fast as Elena... Well whatever! I'm not a pure blood like her, my strength stats can go up pretty high!] He looked down at his nimble 3 year old arm [W-well I'll be sure to bulk up when I'm older, my strength is only 10/90 right now!]
Siun kept on talking to himself in his mind to pass the time, he felt lonely without Tex and their usual banter. But shortly he finally reached the church.
It was the tallest building in the entire town and was pure white with no blemishes whatsoever, and behind that church was the forest
[...it's just a normal forest]
Siun said as he slowly walked towards the small wooden gate that separated the church from the forest around it, not that it served any function, the demons or anyone could easily jump over it or probably run right through it
Siun slowly opened the rotting gate and a loud squeaking noise came from the rusted hinges
"WHOS THERE?" A voice from inside the church yelled out
[Ah! Better not get caught, Tex told me to stay out of trouble!] He thought in his mind as he mindlessly ran into the dark woods to avoid the voice
Maybe he was a bit too panicked, because he ran without thinking and looking where he went, Siun was now lost inside the forest
