Cael gave Mimi one last kiss to calm both her and himself down, then looked down at Ginevra.

He pressed his lips to hers, too. Although she couldn't respond, and even if she was able to, she was possessed by a Starspawn… Cael hoped she could feel that.

And with that, he left them to wait and, together with Dante, went towards the Starspawn's shelter.

Dante's potions worked exactly as described. After drinking the orange one and applying the green one, Cael felt like a true war machine. His mind barely kept up with the speed of his body.

He also had a temporal hastening spell active, just in case. Because…

"They must've sensed us from now," Cael said as they got closer to the Starspawn's shelter. "They might be waiting for a moment to ambush us. Any moment…"

From here, he could sense clearly that there were not just two Starspawn scouts, but three. Even one was a tough opponent… But three? Cael was glad that he was full of potions.
