As I watched the faces of all the Gods, I was looking for something, anything, that seemed to be off. On the contrary, however, they all looked calm, cool, and collected. Aside from Hades, who wasn't happy about the joke I'd made. And I'm sure that was all that caused it. 

"No, Talia, we think it's best to perform the ritual here. It's a special and magical experience, don't you want your family to watch you ascend? After we're finish, and from this day forward, you will be a Goddess. This is a momentous occasion, and we don't want anyone to miss it."
