When I walked into my sister's house, I saw that everyone else had already gotten there. I was the last to arrive. Well, in my defense, I was the furthest from the group when I set out, having been at the castle and all.

"It's about time you got here, slowpoke." CJ laughed at me.

"Shush." I jokingly snapped at him. "I had the farthest to drive."

"Uh huh, yeah, sure, make excuses." He chuckled again as he took a seat in the living room.

"Anyway," I moved the topic on from CJ's jokes, "we all know why we're here."

"Yeah, the earthquake." Luka's tone of voice was calm and easygoing. Most of us here hadn't suffered major damage, so we weren't overly worried about what had happened.
