93) Poseidon's show of Power

A palpable tension was amongst the Gods, even Zeus was in awkward position considering his Ex Wife had joined the fray. Finally, God Father Began," Now, Poseidon my dearest brother! The achiever of Impossible! Truly the God of the Gods!-", Poseidon sneered and said," Get on the topic, flattery will get you nowhere Zeus", the God Father coughed embarrassedly and finally asked," Would you throw the light on how you returned back?"
Poseidon began giving his explanation, which was basically that Nilfhel was another world where Gods existed in their purest form, there was also a time difference between the worlds, and Poseidon honed his abilities their, fell in love with his women who are now his wives and finally returned back.
For a moment there was silence as Odin fumed in anger," Nonsense! Poseidon! Do you consider me to believe such an obvious lie?!", shouted Odin surprising many who had almost believed in Poseidon's story, the God of the Gods smirked and said," Yes, I do expect to- after all that's my intention. This story is just an explanation to my resurrection for the other Gods."
Such blatant disrespect was enough to break Odin's calm which was already at it's edge, the God of Wrath and Rage stood up summoning his Gungir, many Gods screamed knowing it was going to evolve into a battle between two most fierce Gods of the Heavens, the clash itself might kill all the nearby Gods, and the situation would escalate to the battle between the two Pantheons or so they thought.
*Thud*
Odin's body fell on the ground with a thud, Gods froze on their steps as Thunder cracked next moment and Thor was next to Poseidon," How imprudent! ", Amara grabbed Mjolnir, then with sheer strength she crushed the Artifact into pieces and beam shot off through her hand obliterated Thor's heart. His figure fell as he looked at Poseidon with anger, hatred and despair.
" What just happened?!", Zeus screamed as the figures of Odin and Thor started crumbling down and they met their end in Nilfhel. Silence, silence permeated the Hall only to be broken by the Cold voice of the Poseidon," Anyone who tries to run will have the same result as them, if you want to live, return to your seats."
It was an order, a command, but no God dared to refuse it, whether it was of fear for their lives or the fact they understood that Poseidon was simply too powerful to be messed with. " Ahaha- Poseidon, I think this seat belongs to you", Zeus said in an nervous and awkward tone as he emptied his seat, and patted it for Poseidon to sit on it.
" Brother, do you know why I supported you, even if our mother loved you the most and just wanted to use our feelings, to become tools for you out of my own will?", suddenly Poseidon asked and Zeus gulped his saliva, threat of death loomed over him as his eyes met with Poseidon's which were now glowing in color of jewels.
"I-I... Because we-", the God Father stuttered trying his best to find the most suitable words to reply, " Uh? Leave it! Let me tell you then, for starters you never crossed your limit with us, second you were strongest of us, and third you were my brother", Poseidon replied leaving the God Father baffled.
" That's not my seat, I don't have eyes on such petty thrones anymore- You can stay God Father and rule however you want, but don't try your luck on me alright?", Poseidon said and Zeus nodded hurriedly, and quickly returned to his seat, Poseidon's focus turned on the Gods whose face filled with nervousness," If you don't want your pantheons to be massacred, don't rally yours Gods towards my home. Now either you can tell them the truth that I don't want to tell them how I resurrected or fed them with the story I weaved."
" W-We understand, but Lord Poseidon can you guarantee us, that you won't kill or harm our families if we obey your will?", asked Susanoo making many glare at him. Tsukuyomi suddenly grabbed his arm and made him kneel while Amaterasu bowed and said," Lord Poseidon, forgive my insolent brothers, he has went stupid after living with humans so long."
" His question though is good- Let me ask you, if there is an insect who is living out there, will you, who is very dedicated to a goal would kill it unless it tries to mess with you?", Poseidon asked the Goddess a question, Amaterasu bit her lips and then replied," Nope- I will ignore such insects even if they are near me, but if they try to mess up with me I will destroy their entire colony."
Poseidon started clapping and said," Wonderful answer! Amaterasu was it? Never thought we would have such alike thoughts. Now very well, you all got your answer", his words caused them to breath in relief. Finally their representative yielded or rather accepted his fake story as a way to save themselves.
" Lo-Lord! My Uncle and his son were foolish, but I surrender to you", said Loki as he knelt before Poseidon, " Hmm, you are the fourth Chief God from now onwards", he replied causing many to gasp," I-I will be forever in debt of your generosity", Loki said with a smile, barely holding back a creepy smile to form on his face.
Poseidon grabbed the Gungir and handed it over to the Loki," Brand it as your own, and now the meeting is adjourned!", he said and after giving a nod to Hades he left the hall and starting walking outside, meanwhile Amara followed him silently in confusion," Daddy, why aren't we teleporting?", she asked and Poseidon stopped and replied," There are a few things I need to deal with. Go and return to your mothers, I will meet up with you later."
Amara nodded and teleported, while Poseidon teleported to his home in the Heavens. When he arrived someone was already waiting," Lord Poseidon!!", Proteus cried and quickly knelt, Poseidon looked at the God who had assisted him in his work for more than a few Billions of years and sighed," Proteus was it? Take this", he said throwing away his trident at him.
The God caught it and then shrieked," L-Lord Poseidon you are handing me your Poseidon to clean it?", he asked in disbelief as he knew Poseidon didn't let anyone touch his trident and always cleaned it himself, that only a few were aware of. " No, I am passing it to you, from now onwards it's yours", he said causing Proteus to be stunned.
" Lo-Lord Poseidon you surely jest my Lord, how can you hand me your Trident? To a mere servant nonetheless?", he said and Poseidon nodded," Indeed it's not my trident, Proteus you do know me well, but see the Trident once more", he said and Proteus looked at the Trident founding it to be a mere replica, but it had the same strength as Poseidon's original Trident.
" Sire, this is", he asked, and a Trident appeared in Poseidon's hand," That's a replica of my Trident, and while compared to my newly improved Trident it's weak, it is still a tad stronger than the Trident I had and you were aware of", he said causing Proteus to erupt in a cry," My Lord!! I am not worthy of such gi-", he stopped seeing Poseidon's emotionless look.
" I-I mean thank you", he said and Poseidon nodded with a smile making system laugh at him,[ Master, I thought you will hug him, and let him understand how grateful you are for his service], system said and Poseidon rolled his eyes,' Don't make me laugh system, you should know me better than anyone, after having my soul fused on top of that ', he replied.
After that Poseidon asked Proteus to give him the reports of what had occurred in his absence, and after reading the reports and doing all the work, he gave Proteus his seat, while the butler was very confused and shocked, he soon realized that his Lord has a new goal and decided to assist him by doing his work in his stead.

" What about its Hera? You had just to make a joke of us?", sneered Athena as she glared at Hera, the Queen of the Heavens smashed her glass of wine at Athena who nimbly dodged it. Hera spat, " Who do you think you are dimwit?! Remember it you are but a woman born out of a whore that Ze-", she was interrupted by a slap on her face, the sheer strength of the Goddess of Wisdom broke the nose and several teeth of Hera, and she fell on the ground.
Hera fumed in anger and tried to retort when she met Athena's cold eyes causing her to shiver," It seems you are living in Delusion Hera, your strength is meagre despite the Noble Origins you have, the only reason you hold so sway that Zeus had been once your Husband and you still preside as one of 12 Major Gods of Olympus. But now that is gone, Lord Poseidon is the strongest now and you won't be able to use your Ex-Husband's position and feelings to do whatever you want, and I am pretty sure Lord Poseidon won't be taking the sides of filthy bitches like you", said the Goddess of Athena.
" Athena, please forgive my sister! ", Demeter said as she saw Athena's palms inch towards her sword and quickly grabbed her hand. The Goddess of Wisdom stopped, and looked at Hestia who didn't even had the courage to stop her and sneered, and finally stopped. Hera meanwhile stood up and started laughing crazily, she summoned a potion and drank it which healed her injuries.
Hera then looked at Athena with a sneer and said," Lord Poseidon, was it? Huh? You love him, right? The rumors that Goddess of Wisdom, Athena, one of the virgin Goddesses of Heavens confessed her love to Lord Poseidon and got rejected weren't any mere rumors, right? Do you know that we both shared a passionate night?! No matter how strong he might be, in the end he is a pathetic man-", her words again interrupted as Athena grabbed Hera's tongue and cut it next moment with her sword.
" AghhhhhH!!!", Hera screamed in pain, as Athena spat at her," Fucking Bitch- Do you think betraying your husband makes you any better than Zeus? And I am pretty sure it was you who crawled before Lord Poseidon, wanting to be fucked like the whore you are!", she said as her face became twisted in anger.
Demeter trembled and hugged Hestia, both of them were unable to say anything to Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom rose her sword and swung it, a sound of flesh being sliced was heard, Athena's eyes became cold as she glared at the person who interrupted," What do you want Hermes?", she asked and the God smiled, though his fingers which laid on the floor and his hand from which the blood seeped betrayed it.
" My Dearest sister-", Hermes stopped in middle as a sword was pointed in his neck," I won't hesitate to cut you down, so speak to the point", she said, the God wanted to make some remarks but knowing his position he said," Spare her, not because of her position or origin, but because that our Father, Lord Zeus will be broken if she was to die."
" Broken? Our father must have become more pathetic that I expected if he will be heart broken by death of this cheating whore", she said and Hermes replied," The person she cheated with is none other than Poseidon himself, quite shocking right?", a mark appeared on his neck, and blood started seeping out while Athena who had just swung her sword glared at him," Keep him out of it."
" There is no need to, if Lord Poseidon wants, he will give me punishment itself, no one shall get it in his stead. He will hate you if he comes to know about it ", Hermes said, and Athena clicked her tongue, then she gave a kick on Hera's chest breaking her ribs and said," Consider yourself lucky bitch", and left.
Demeter came to check on the Hera, while Hestia remained frozen,' Quite disappointing of the Eldest of Olympian siblings, but well nothing new ', he thought, after all he knew Hestia was a lazy Goddess and scaredy cat, though she simply wanted to live a happy life and remain out of conflicts, but that was considered pathetic among Gods and if not for her brothers and their identity she long would have become victim to some lusty God.
He then sighed and looked at his chopped fingers,' It will usually take longer for my fingers to regenerate, so I should pick them up and quickly patch it up so it takes less time ', he thought and quickly picked his fingers and left for medical help along with Hera.

" So Father what should we do?", asked Amaterasu, the three Chief Shinto Gods knelt before Izanagi, the Creator God who created them, the God became silent and then glanced at Susanoo," I would have liked to discuss about your parting from three Noble Gods Alliance, but well tell me can you kill him?", he asked the Sword God.
" Nope, not a chance, I would be dead before I know", Susanoo replied and they became silent, they knew Susanoo was strongest of them by now, even Izanagi knew it better than anyone. " Say Tsukuyomi, did he say he has multiple wives?", asked Izanagi and the Moon God nodded," Yes, father, Lord Poseidon did state he had married, multiple women at that, though he didn't mention directly I think he probably has 3-4 wives, but why are you asking me this father?", he said.
Amaterasu came in front of bowed," I understand what you want father, but it is dangerous", she said while her two brothers looked at her with shock," Wait sister do you mean?", Tsukuyomi gasped and Susanoo gritted his teeth," Father, you want to marry sister to him?!", he asked, and Amaterasu quickly said," Father's decision is a smart one", but Susanoo disagreed," But sister! How can you expect me to fine with this forceful decision?! Not to mention, he is trying to marry you to the one of the cruelest Gods in all of Heavens!"
" That's the reason Susanoo, you both must understand that while Lord Poseidon did have given a guarantee, that only extends to if we don't come between his goals, and if we by mistake do come in between his goals, he will annihilate us, it is for all of Shinto Gods", she replied, and Tsukuyomi asked," And you are fine with this?! If we want to marry someone there are many beautiful Goddesses in the Pantheon! Virgin to the boot on top of that."
" It won't work", Izanagi said silencing the brothers and continued," Lord Poseidon have rejected many women, however from what we have seen in the records, his second wife is outrageously powerful enough to bring God Father of the Cosmos to his knees with relative ease, and thus based on whatever I know of his current and past personality, he won't even look at a weak woman."
" Exactly, and that makes me the best choice, I am a Virgin, the Chief Goddess of a relatively big Pantheon with potential to surpass Thor in few thousand years and Odin as well. I can become fifth Supreme God and the strongest Goddess, I am beautiful, one of the most beautiful woman in all of heavens, thus I will make an ideal wife or concubine for Lord Poseidon", she said.
Tsukuyomi fumed on hearing that her sister, her proud sister was even ready to become Lord Poseidon's concubine for them," B-But sister!", he tried to retort and Amaterasu replied," No buts!!", her aura pressed on the two brother Gods, while Susanoo was mostly unaffected but Tsukuyomi fell into his knees.
She sighed stopping her aura and looking at her brothers she said," You two must understand, I am not a foolish Goddess who will sacrifice myself for some mere Gods, I will rather die to sacrifice by dignity even for you my brothers. I am the only Female Goddess who is the Chief Goddess of an Pantheon, b-ut what's use of such pride in front of being who can destroy you like ants? Not to mention, if we do consider other aspects it isn't that sacrificial as you two might think."
" What do you mean sister?", asked the Moon God, and the Sun Goddess replied," Who do you think can be worthy to become my Husband? I see none other than Poseidon, Odin and Zeus are out of the question, Shiva already has three wives, and I am pretty sure he loves the first a lot. While it's same with Poseidon, he is the strongest God now, so stronger that he killed the God that could kill me with a single strike just by staring at him."
They became silent, and while Izanagi wanted to ask the meaning of killing Odin just by looking at him he refrained and asked," Have you made your decision?", the sun goddess nodded and said," Father, don't worry I won't let us die like lambs being slaughtered, and from what I have observed, Lord Poseidon seems to love his wives, so you don't need to worry about me", they could only sigh at their helplessness.
