'I hope the others left as well.' He thought, going to check if his friends and family were still in the same place or if they returned safely to the Immortal Ice Dragon Clan.

After some minutes, Lux finally arrived back there and was satisfied to see that the others left and didn't risk being seen by more Forgotten Beasts.

'This area is quite dangerous, and there's barely any person passing by. If those beasts were attracted here, I'm afraid even the higher echelons would show up for the chance to catch Khione.'

From their short conversation with Kruos, Lux also learned that the Forgotten Beasts seem to be able to recognize the most influential people in a group and focus on attacking them.

And after Plis admitted to being a spy, Lux was quite sure that one of the goals of the Forgotten Beasts was to capture those important people and somehow use them to their advantage.
