章 323: Strange Man

When Lux left his previous position, his back was covered in sweat. Despite trying his best not to, it was hard for him to pretend that he didn't see or feel a scary aura around the area.

'Who was that? I could feel his gaze roaming over my body, and if not for my Soul Spirit creating a separate layer of defense, I think that being would have seen everything; including some of my secrets.'

It was the second time someone gave Lux that feeling, the first one being Longinus, Selena's uncle.

But since there was no evil intention behind that gaze, Lux tried to think that maybe they just passed some powerful being's territory.

And once he got enough distance between himself and that place, the gaze almost disappeared, allowing Lux to sigh in relief.

After following the trail for some time, Lux observed that the two weren't really fighting; it was looking like a party was chasing the other.
