Evander strode out of the stable, followed by his groom who held his horse. He seethed with anger but kept it hidden.

He now knew for certain that Persie had seduced Cole to get revenge on him. He understood that Persie had realized Luke's love for him and wanted someone with more power.

Evander had done his research on Cole before he met his "parents" and knew his ways and behavior. But the way he acted with Persie was different. Evander sensed that Cole had feelings for Persie, and he intended to change that.

Once Cole realizes that Persie is only using him to make Luke jealous, he'll see how disgusting he is.

Before seeing a picture of Cole, Evander had never liked any alpha. But now that he does, he will make sure that the alpha likes only him.

Evander glanced towards the stable where Persie was still in Cole's arms, and his hands tightened into fists.

Cole asked, "Are you okay?"
