Meanwhile, outside of the woods, a group of teenagers and one adult man stood panting and sighing out of relief. Most of the teenagers looked pale and you could tell it was out of fear.
One girl looked back and the expression of guilt could be seen in her eyes. Was it right to leave their colleagues behind when they could help?
"You don't say anything that has happened today to anyone... Do you hear me?" Kendrick ordered with a strict face.
"But sir...sir Kendrick, wh...what about the others we left behind? Wh...what would happen to them? " The girl asked, she looked scared.
Kendrick stared at the girl. His expression spoke of how stupid the question was.
What was going to happen to them? What else if not dead?
"They're probably dead. Let's go!" Kendrick said indifferently.
"Shouldn't we go and call for help?" The girl insisted.
