He stopped right in front of her, looking down at her. He could see her trying to regain some sense of herself. Her eyes were red-rimmed, and tears welled up in them.

"Tell me why I should let you live. What makes you worth saving? Why are you not worth killing?" he asked with a hint of disappointment in his voice.

"DIE!!!!" Samantha screamed as her body began to glow white.

Tristan took a deep breath and braced himself for impact.

'Kill or not... hmmm... she's not exactly going to make my life easy,' Tristan thought as his mind suddenly went blank.

Tristan felt as though he had been thrown into another place and time.

Then a smile graced his lips as he contemplated the best possible method of getting his hands on Samantha.

The momentary confusion lasted only a fraction of a second before he realized that he was once again in the world he knew so well.
