章 277: Paying off the Debt

The wind had been raging relentlessly through the streets of Oslo for a week. However, Olaf Meiden did not feel the chill, even though specks of rain fell on his coat with the wind. He was too immersed in his thoughts to pay attention to such a small thing as the weather.

He viewed the property he had purchased positively. The old sports center called for renovation, but it was abandoned as a newer, more modern one was built. For public use, this 1980s oldie was no longer suitable, so it was abandoned. Mieden bought it for next to nothing. Because, and to tell the truth, it wasn't worth much. It could have been demolished and something new erected in its place, but Olaf wasn't going to play that game. Old and abandoned, this building nevertheless met his needs perfectly.

Felix Krauze emerged from the building and scowled from a gust of wind.

"Mr. Chairman," he approached Meiden, "come inside or go back to your car. It's too cold to..."

"I'll wait here."
