Since Bubsy was already five months old, he was able to recognize his mother easily now.

"Mmh~ Mmmmhh~!" The little guy's grape-colored eyes met his mother's loving gaze. He pouted and reached his little arms out towards her.

It was obvious that he wanted his mother to carry him instead.

Jackson stared at Nidia and then at Theodore, who was ordering food in the room.

"I'll..." 

Before Nidia could finish her sentence to suggest she would carry Bubsy, Jackson left with the baby without a word. They went into the men's restroom, so Nidia couldn't follow them.

It wasn't suitable for them to talk in public, anyway. They might affect the other customers who were dining in the cafe.

Nidia took her shoes off and headed into the private room.

Since Theodore was still ordering, his gaze wasn't on the door, nor did he hear her say anything.
