After I gave that kiss to Alliana's, the atmosphere on the plane grew palpably tense. She remained eerily silent for the entirety of our flight to Milan, her demeanor frozen in shock. A devious grin crept onto my face as I relished in the effect of my actions. Upon touchdown in Milan, I wasted no time in taking the lead.

"Someone's got to stay here until we're done," I said as I made my way to the rear of the jet. "Do we all come?" Vex asked. I paused for a moment before shaking my head decisively. "Nah, just Kai and I, the rest of you stick with Alliana," I said, stepping out onto the jet. I deployed the steps instead of the ramp, signaling Kai to follow, and we came to solid ground.
