I slipped my phone into my pocket, feeling a sense of unease settle in the air. "And who told him I was on my period?" Alliana asked, her voice tinged with frustration. Andrea, who had just finished stitching the wound on Alliana's leg, glanced up at me, her expression questioning. "I did so he wouldn't suspect anything," I explained, trying to diffuse the tension that had settled over us like a dark cloud.

"Suspect what? That you guys did to me?" Alliana asked. Andrea's scowl deepened, her gaze flickering between Alliana and me as if trying to piece together the puzzle of our conversation. "What do you mean they did to you?" Andrea asked. "It's a long story," Alliana murmured. "I'll get into that later. How do you feel?" I asked, trying to steer the conversation back to more immediate concerns.
