章 150: A Confession

The warm rays of sun caressed Cassey's cheeks as she opened her eyes. A small bird was chirping on her window as if it had come to greet her and tell her that it was going to be a good day.

Cassey smiled. She stretched her tired muscles only to feel a sting on her shoulders and her feet. The incident from last night flashed past her eyes.

It has been a month since she had started to travel to the town but yesterday was the most eventful. She took a deep sigh as she forced herself to sit properly.

"I can not believe that i lost books too." she had paid high for them. And she was already expecting to use them for kids.

Now she had to take another part of their income to buy books. With a sigh, she left her bed and washed her face.

The house was small and they only had one washroom but Ana made sure that Cassey had enough warm water in her room every morning.
