章 363: I LOVE YOU

"Why are you crying?" Panicked filled his widened eyes as he took a step closed and wiped her tears from her warm cheeks. The touch scalded her.

He had made her cry again when he had recently promised her that he would take care of her and would never make her cry. 

"Anastasia! I promise that your family would not be included. I will keep them safe even if I have to die in the process. I…" his words were cut when she raised her head and met his eyes.

Her eyes were blurred from the tears but she could see rage in them. She reached for his collars and pulled them hard.

"What did you say?" Her voice was challenging, full of rage and emotions he could not understand. He could not point to it but it affected him nonetheless. "You will die while protecting my family? Why would you do that? What made you think that you should do that?"
