章 252: Devil's breath

Ana was surprised to see the morning rays dancing on her skin when she opened her eyes. Last night she had finished all her serum on Luca which she had purchased from Grand Corner. It had the ability to seek truth from anyone. Yet she was on pins and needles all the time until Liam came. 

She had pretended to be asleep before because she did not want to face Liam. she would not be able to speak truth under the walls that had eyes and ears and she did not know how to lie. But her exhaustion had overcome her.

She could hear the distinct sound of someone chatting and did not open her eyes.

"Your grace is still resting. I request you to visit her later." Maggie pleaded in a low voice to the guest but the women did not seem satisfied with the reply.

"I am only here to ask about her health. Do you not think you are overstepping your boundaries by stopping me?
