Ana was surprised to see the royal carriage parked at the entrance.

It was the funeral of a viscount who had died by falling from stairs. He did not hold much power that the royal family would visit personally.

A knight or a vassal family would have been enough. Her eyes fell on her husband who was taking the lead and a mocking smile filled her face.

They were not even trying to be discreet about it.

As they walked in, it only took her a second to find Meredith standing with the viscountess. She was the only one in the room who was wearing a red dress, the color of royal blood.

She patted the back of the woman and then turned to look at them. Her smile grew wider. Anyone would notice lust filling her eyes when her eyes met Garry's.

Ana felt nauseated looking at their brazen actions. 

"Ah, I thought Garrison was too busy to not come here." She smiled and swayed her hips towards them.
