"I couldn't change her mind," Lennox replied as he sat impatiently next to the driver's seat. "She was shaken upon seeing how distressed Myrtle was yesterday."

"Don't do anything stupid later, Lennox. I cannot assure your safety. Allow the police to apprehend Alistair Han. It's already bad enough we're bringing you with us, but I know Addie needs you."
