When they arrived home, Samantha and Scarlett were waiting for them. However, as soon as Lennox opened the front door, he rushed upstairs and didn't bother to stop to greet his sisters. Samantha and Scarlett were startled, wondering if their older brother was in a bad mood after meeting the Qin family.

Adrienne entered their home shortly, noticing the mood shift in the air. Samantha and Scarlett exchanged concerned glances, unsure of what had transpired during Lennox's visit with the Qin family.

"Addie, did something happen during your visit? Did Nox have an argument with the Qin family?" Samantha asked worriedly. They were worried that their older brother would receive an earful from the Qin family by taking them in under his care.

Adrienne smiled, seeing how Lennox's siblings were protective of him.

"No, nothing like that," she reassured them. "Lennox has a lot in mind. I'm sure he didn't mean to ignore you."
