Adrienne wasn't the only one who passed the exam. She could hardly contain her excitement as she walked up the steps to Myrtle's apartment building. It had been a few days since they found out they passed the entrance exam at Chiangshi University with Valerie, and she couldn't wait to celebrate with them. She had envisioned this moment since they started studying together, and now it was finally happening. 

As Adrienne reached the door of Myrtle's apartment, she took a deep breath and rang the doorbell. Within seconds, the door swung open, revealing a grinning Myrtle. 

"Addie, you made it!" she exclaimed, pulling Adrienne into a tight hug. 

Adrienne laughed, returning the hug. "Of course I did. Do you expect me not to accept your invitation?"
