章 40: Investigation

Max got back to his office a little after nine. Before that he had a long session with Kevin Rand , filling pages of his notebook with names of their friends and associates and family members . Max also asked if there were any kind of family disputes going on in their family, just in case. 

After that Max decided to inspect the cars involved in this case hoping to find any clue that can lead him to the kidnappers. Max went to the garage to inspect Francine's car to see if he could find any clues related to the kidnappers . But unfortunately he didn't find any clues at all and even if there were any clues left in Francine's car, at least Max couldn't spot them.

As for the other car, the gray Tempo used to deliver her segmented remains, it was not available for inspection. The kidnappers had parked it illegally, and sometime in the course of the weekend after Kevin and Peter retrieved Francine's remains, a tow truck from Traffic Police had showed up to haul it away.
