The moment I saw the blood on his fingers, I turned my gaze to a random place, as long it wasn't Dav's face. This was the most embarrassing thing that I had ever faced. 

"Wife." As expected, he called but I dared not turn my gaze to his face. No, I can't even bring myself to look at him. My catamenial blood was literally on his fingers, why didn't he sound disgusted?

But at least, this was enough to stop the passionate moment. The second time I showed Dav that I was ready and as usual, something just had to happen. Maybe, Dav and I were never meant to become one. Maybe we were never meant to become vamp and wife.
