章 229: Winter’s Arrival

Just as he was about to be buried under the boulder, a flash of light illuminated the cave, making him close his eyes unconsciously. This was followed by a loud crashing sound that echoed in all directions.

'What is going on?' Codename 11 thought in shock as he slowly opened his eyes.

Once he got a clearer look at his surroundings, he saw a peerlessly beautiful figure standing before her with a short sword in her hand. Her hair was tied in a ponytail and she was wearing a black exoskeleton armor. Her back was facing him, but Codename 11 couldn't be more familiar with this woman. She was one of the highly respected individuals in the base and everyone respectfully called her Miss Winter.

"M-Miss Winter…" Codename 11 called out upon seeing her. He had temporarily forgotten the painful sensation on his leg.
